The i-26 is an Interstate Highway that travels generally in a
northwest-southeast direction thru 3 US states, those states being; North
Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
The city of Asheville NC is located at it's
northwest end ... and the city of
Charleston SC is located at it's southeast end.
The i-26 is the main route between the i-40
at the northwest end and the i-95 towards it's
southeast end.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-26 include the;
i-20, i-40,
i-77, i-81,
i-85, and i-95.
The i-26 covers a distance of aprox. 306 miles ... which can
be travelled in just aprox. ?5.1 hrs. with a sustained travelling speed of 60
miles-per-hour.
