The i-37 is a Intrastate Interstate Highway that travels generally in a north-south
direction entirely within the state of Texas.The i-37 is the main route
between the Gulf Coast in the Corpus Christi region and the i-10 and i-35 in the
metro San Antonio region.
The city of San Antonio located at it's north end ... and the city of Corpus
Christi is located at it's south end.
The i-37 is a major hurricane evacuation route from the Texas Gulf Coast.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-37 include the;
i-10 and i-35.
The i-37 covers a distance of aprox. 143 miles ... which can
be travelled in aprox. 2.4 hrs. with a sustained travelling speed averaging 60
miles-per-hour.
