The i-97 is a short distance intrastate Interstate Highway that travels generally in a
north-south entirely within the state of Maryland.The i-97 is the main
interstate highway route between the metro Baltimore and metro Annapolis
regions.
The i-97 is one of the shortest sections of the interstate highway system at
only aprox. 17.6 miles in length ... the i-97 can
be travelled in aprox. 30 minutes hrs. with an averaging travelling speed of 60
miles-per-hour.
