north-south direction thru 3 US states, those states being; Arkansas, Louisiana,
& Missouri.The i-49 is a multi-section highway (not a
contiguous highway) ... the northern section of the i-49 is located in the
states of Arkansas & Missouri ... and a southern section of the i-49 is located
in Arkansas & Louisiana ... the map above on this page only shows a southern
section of the i-49 that runs between Lafayette LA & Shreveport LA.
The city of Kansas City MO is located at it's north end ... and the city of
Lafayette, LA is located at it's south end.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-49 include the;
i-10, i-20,
i-30, i-40,
and i-44.
The i-49 covers a total of distance of aprox. 479 miles.
