The i-82 is an Interstate Highway that travels generally in a
northwest-southeast direction thru 2 US states, those states being; Oregon and
Washington.The i-82 is part of a major route between Seattle and regions
towards the southeast of the US.
The city of Hermiston, OR is
located at it's east end ... and the city of
Ellensburg, WA is located at it's
west end.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-82 include the;
i-84 and i-90.
The i-82 covers a distance of aprox. 144 miles ... which can
be travelled in aprox. 2.4 hrs. with a sustained travelling speed averaging 60
miles-per-hour.
