The i-89 is an Interstate Highway that travels generally in a
north/northwest-by-south/southeast direction thru 2 US states, those states
being; New Hampshire and Vermont.The i-89 is one of the major routes between
the Canadian/US border (just southeast of the Montreal Quebec region) and the
VT, NH, and greater Boston regions.
The city of Swanton, VT is located
near it's north end ... and the city of
Concord, NH is located at it's south end.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-89 include the;
i-91 and i-93.
The i-89 covers a distance of aprox. 191 miles ... which can
be travelled in aprox. 3.2 hrs. with a sustained travelling speed averaging 60
miles-per-hour.
